Then & Now about me
My father Francis A. Bolish spent 20 years in the US Air Force, and I would say he was my artistic inspiration.
I remember he used to send me very detailed illustrations done in graphite on yellow government note pad paper while he was station in Udorn, AFB in Thailand during the Vietnam Conflict to pass his time.
He was my role model, and he also hand painted murals on his squadron supply room wall of the Eddie Ridenbacker of the 1st Pursuit Squadron, dogfighting with the Red Baron. As a young kid I use to read Aircraft in Profile and started illustrating myself....

As you can see my facination with aircraft started at an early age, first with Crayola Crayons, and I think I have been drawing ever since!
